Benefits of GentleWave®

GentleWave® technology offers many benefits when used for non-surgical endodontic treatment:

  • Less invasive. As its name suggests, GentleWave® is a gentler approach to root canal treatment. It flushes out the tooth with minimal root scraping, resulting in less post op pain.
  • Leaves more tooth structure. GentleWave® allows more of the tooth structure to remain, whereas the traditional root canal method involves scraping away large amount of tooth structure material.
  • Disinfects thoroughly. GentleWave® reaches the entire root canal system, even the smallest spaces, to eliminate and prevent infection.
  • Takes less time. The GentleWave® process is efficient, meaning patients spend less time in the dental chair for a root canal.
